It's me, Madisen!

Like many of us, my photography journey started with a hot pink, point and shoot Canon ready to capture all the embarrassing middle school moments and selfies (before "selfie" was even a coined term). Thankfully, my skills have come a long way, but one aspect that's remained a focus is documenting candid moments of authentic relationships.

I'm a wife, mom of 2, creative, the best chef (ask my daughter for yourself), and an avid reader. Photography is my passion project- by day I'm a professional community builder, what can I say, relationships are my love language! When I started Madisen Gaskin Photography, I was enamored by couples and wedding days. As my husband and I have added children to our family, my focus has morphed to match my phase of life. Families bring warmth and bold personalties that shine bright in the photos I capture.

Being a mom, I know all too well how quickly the pregnancy, newborn, and first years of a child's life fly by. We wake up one day to realize we have a 4 year old writing "Mom" all over pieces of paper, when it feels like just yesterday we were begging them to babble mama. Let me help you and your family slow down, enjoy each other, and give you the gift of being able to savor the "now" for years to come.
